"No one can go back and make a fresh start, but anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending."
Ahhhh...I love fresh starts and now is the time of year! Again, the blog. A fresh start with it. But, this year promises to be a little less hectic without a move like last year, right? Well, we'll see. However, it is my hope. My aim is to see with people this year. Not just to get life done, but to be a part of it in new ways. As we start a new year, Jeff and I have taken to scaling back on several things this month...sweets (food in general, actually), TV, and late nights. Our hope is to add exercise, pursuing the kids, and, especially for me, more friend time, craft time and relax time. SIGH. Sounds so good. I have had to reflect the last few days on why these many things are not so much my way of life. This is not the first time that this is the focus of a new year or the focus of any fresh start in the last 10 years. I can say, though, that each year God inches me closer and closer to the things I long for and that is what it is about. That is all I can do is look to Him for true change. As I consider the areas that I need to change, I find I am grateful for where I have come. So, to fresh starts. That is a worthy pursuit.
